چکیده
The increasing concentration of potentially toxic elements (PTEs) in agricultural soils has greatly disturbed the quality and productivity soils. In this study, we investigated uptake distribution cadmium (Cd), lead (Pb), nickel (Ni) by two Brassica cultivars (Khanpur raya Sandal canola) grown on soil irrigated with metal-contaminated water. Distilled water was spiked salts to prepare irrigation various levels metals (Ni application at 90, Cd 20, Pb 500, Ni + 20 90 500 mg L?1). These treatments were compared without addition any salt. results indicated that control treatment, metal concentrations decreased shoot weight (44.25%, 29.03%), root length (33.33%, 12.74%), (19.73%, 11.06%) Khanpur canola, respectively. Compared contaminated photosynthesis rate (98.42%, 99.34%), chlorophyll content (18.27%, 13.73%), respiration (7.97%, 6.47%), transpiration (9.90%, 33.33%) both varieties, Notably, (0.01 0.003), 0.012), (0.03 0.05%) seeds increased, as well respectively, controls. Furthermore, PTE accumulation different components recorded, order > seed. It observed brassica differed significantly their response growth PTEs edible parts. concluded did not exhibit a decline due prevented translocation towards parts canola thus can be safely receiving PTE-contaminated

Response of different species of Brassica to water deficit
Development of drought-tolerant cultivars is hampered by a lack of effective selectioncriteria. In this research, response of 36 genotypes of rapeseed from seven species of Brassicaincluding B. napus, B. rapa, B. juncea, B. carinata, B. oleracea, B. nigra and B. fruticulosa wasassessed under three moisture levels (no stress, mild stress and intense stress) in the field during2011-2012. Five dro...
متن کاملPotentially Toxic Elements Contamination in Sediment, Surface and Pore water of Maharlu Saline Lake, South - West Iran
Maharlu Lake, located in the SW of Iran, has acted as a sink for various wastewater discharges in the last few decades. This study aimed at assessing potentially toxic elements (PTEs) distribution in sediment, surface and pore water samples of Maharlu Lake. To achieve that, the samples were collected from each compartment and the total concentration of PTEs (Al, Fe, Sc, Cr, Co, Ni, Zn, As, Sb, ...
متن کاملResponse of different rice cultivars (Oryza sativa L.) to water-saving irrigation in greenhouse conditions
Due to increasing water and growing demand for food a more efficient water use system is needed for agriculture. This is more evidence for rice production with a higher water use for economical production. A large cultivar×water regime interaction exists for grain yield in rice. Therefore, information is required to adopt new rice cultivars with high yield potential under water-saving condition...

the aim of the present study was to determine the in?uence of presence or absence of corpus luteum (cl) on hormonal and metabolites composition of follicular ?uid (ff) harvested from different sized follicles and its relationship with blood serum concentrations in sanjabi ewes. ovaries and blood samples were collected from 60 clinically healthy adult ewes (sanjabi breed) 1–3 years of age in dio...
Differential expression of BnSRK2D gene in two Brassica napus cultivars under water deficit stress
The sucrose non-fermenting 1-related protein kinase 2 (SnRK2) family members are plant unique serine/threonine kinases which play a key role in cellular signaling in response to abiotic stresses. The three SnRK2 members including SRK2D, SRK2I and SRK2E are known to phosphorylate major abscisic acid (ABA) responsive transcription factors, ABF2 and ABF4, involved in an ABA-dependent stress signal...
